Open Generator sets
Integrated Power Solutions Ltd (IPS) can supply open generator sets from 10 to 3,000 kVA, either as standalone units or as part of a complete power generation project.
Our standard open generator sets are mounted on heavy-duty steel skids and supplied ready for operation. Each unit is fitted with an integrated base fuel tank (day tank), providing approximately 4–8 hours of operation at 100% load, depending on the generator specification.
Generators can be supplied with either a key-start or automatic-start control panel, allowing for straightforward manual operation or integration with an existing control system. A wide range of advanced control options is also available, including load sharing, remote operation, synchronised parallel operation, automatic start and control systems, and remote testing and monitoring.
IPS open generator sets are commonly incorporated into complete plant room installations, alongside acoustic treatment, silenced exhaust systems, bulk fuel storage, mains-to-generator changeover systems and switched distribution.
Our systems can also be integrated with existing or planned Building Management Systems (BMS), providing convenient remote operation, testing and monitoring capabilities.
